➢ Current Position (January 2021 – To date): Africa Zone Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Coordinator in The Salvation Army.
The main role includes mobilising and enhancing the International Strategy against trafficking in all 24countries in Africa that Salvation Army is operating in, so that they are engaged, encouraged and equipped to better respond to trafficking and international repatriation.
➢ August 2017-December 2020: Project manager for an anti-human trafficking project of The
Salvation Army-Kenya East Territory
Coordinating the Anti-Human Trafficking project spread out in Nairobi, Makueni, Kiambu, Kilifi, Kwale, Samburu, Isiolo and Mombasa counties that are considered hotspots of human trafficking and modern slavery in Kenya. The project aims to reduce human trafficking and sexual exploitation under the themes of Prevention, Research, Advocacy and Coordination and Collaboration.
Negotiated a working partnership for The Salvation Army Kenya East Territory with several multinational agencies such as the UNODC (United Nations Office on Drugs and crime) in Kenya for coordination of AHT stakeholders. Hosted joint stakeholder forums in 2015 and in 2017 in collaboration with the UNODC as a result of this partnership.
Member of the International Anti-Human Trafficking Taskforce for The Salvation Army International representing Africa Zone in developing a global strategy to combat human trafficking from 2016 – 2019
External facilitator at the Global uke forums in Norway Modern Slavery Week in November 2019 for the Norwegian Council of Churches members in 12 forums organized across Norway by the Council in conjunction with Salvation Army Norway.

Oversee design, development and continuous review of the Pneumococcal Conjugate vaccine monitoring electronic data capture system.
Launch and successful rollout of an electronic data capture system, which carries out daily immunization monitoring activities for routine immunizations in 32 health surveillance centres in Kilifi district HDSS (Health Demographic Surveillance System).
